Most pubs down the valley offer great, and sometimes excellent food and drink.  Most of the larger towns and villages also have cafe's for lighter bites.  In Bainbridge the choices are:

Cornmill Tearooms (opposite).  Light snacks, breakfasts, teas.  For openings, see information on the cafe door.

The Rose & Crown.  Food and drink in reputedly the oldest Inn in Yorkshire

Yorbridge House Hotel on the edge of the village on the road to Askrigg.  Award winning cuisine open to non-residents

Ramsey's Fish & Chip Van.  Parks on the green on Tuesday between 4.30 pm and 6.10 pm

Mobile Phones

Mostly don't work in the centre of Bainbridge.  A short walk out of the village in any direction will get you a signal.
