There are innumerable walks in the Upper Wensleydale area and many start at our front door. The local Ordinance Survey map is OL30 - Yorkshire Dales, Northern and Central Area. There is a copy of the map in our bookshelf to borrow for your holiday. We have several local walking books in the bookshelf (as well as local history books) and I have written up a few local walks listed below. (I am trying to add to these all the time).
